My Birding Life List

I’m a long time photographer and a beginning birder.  I got into birding after realizing what a birder’s paradise we live in here in Florida.  I enjoy photographing birds, but  identifying the ones I’ve seen adds a lot to the experience.  I’ve been keeping track of what I’ve seen by tagging the images in Lightroom.

You can see the results below.  What I’d like to do from now on is keep my bird life list up to date here along with a link to a gallery with one or two of my best photos of each bird.  To view the gallery, click here.

Ed’s birding life list – You can use this as an informal indicator of what kinds of birds you can (more or less) easily find in Central Florida

I have photos of a few more birds that I didn’t include here.  They’re either ones I haven’t identified yet or they were captive (I’m only counting wild birds).

This will be a work in process, I’ll add to it as I go and try to keep it up to date with newer / better photos of birds already on the list.  If you’re interested – check back often (I’ll put the date of the last update at the top of the spreadsheet).

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. Now – go make some photos!
